Tampa Location
The Florida Aquarium Ferry Terminal is located immediately behind The Florida Aquarium, next to the Victory Ship. Patrons can get to the terminal by walking between The Florida Aquarium and Cruise Terminal 2.
Parking
There are two surface lots, one public parking garage and a valet option within a five minute walk of The Florida Aquarium ferry terminal and a valet operation. Plus there are a range of other public parking garages and lots along the TECO Streetcar line that are available.
The Florida Aquarium surface parkinglot is located just north of the Aquarium. Rates are $6 during the day and $10 in the evening.
The Port Garage at Sparkman Wharf is located immediately across Channelside. The parking rate is $2 per hour ($15 daily max). Patrons can get $5 off their ticket if they purchase $10 of merchandise from Sparkman Wharf Retailers. Rates for this garage are $20 starting 3.5 hours before events and 30 minutes after events at Amalie Arena.
The Garrison surface parkinglot located between Amalie Arena and Sparkman Wharf is also available at a rate of $2 per hour and is unavailable on event nights.
Valet parking serviceat Garrison is offered for $5 on Friday-Sunday, not including tip. The rate is $30 Valet offered on Event Nights
TECO Streetcar Connections
There are two Streetcar stops within a short walk to The Florida Aquarium Ferry Terminal. Streetcar service will operate every 15 minutes and is free for everyone. We recommend that patrons consider using the streetcar and parking in more remote parking locations in Ybor City during times where there are events at Amalie Arena. Bicycle Connections
Coast Bike Share operates a bike-share program in Tampa with a hub located across from Sparkman Wharf at the Garrison surface parking lot and other locations around Downtown. Click here for more information on station locations and pricing.
Water Taxi Service
Tampa provides connecting services through local water taxis. The Tampa Pirate Water Taxi service provides a unique local water transit connection through a scheduled water taxi service that operates from the Yacht Starship dock in Channelside to the Armature Works, Rick’s on the River and other riverside destinations. Fares are range from $15 to $20 for a day pass, or $25 for a two day pass, and less for children. Annual passes are also available for $129. Click herefor more information about fares and schedules.
St Pete Location
The St. Petersburg Ferry Terminal is located on Bayshore Drive NE, just north of the Museum of Fine Arts and just south of the Vinoy Hotel.
Parking
The Sundial Garage is three blocks away with an entrance located on 2nd Street, south of 2nd Avenue North. All customers who purchase a ticket for the Cross-Bay Ferry and who park in the Sundial Garage will be given a parking pass, upon request of the ferry staff, which a patron can use upon exiting the Sundial Garage to get free parking for that day. There are also several other garages and lots downtown which are also open to the public for market rates. There is also limited availability of metered surface parking spaces in downtown St. Petersburg.
There are three (3) accessible spaces along the east side of Bayshore Drive Northeast just north of the entrance to the ferry. There is an accessible route from this point to the vessel and the vessel is also accessible.
There are also three spaces on the east side of Bayshore Drive Northeast with designated signs that allow drop off and pick up for the public. There is no charge to utilize these spaces.
St. Petersburg Transit Connections
The St. Petersburg Ferry Terminal is served by two transit lines and bike share service.
The Looper Trolley is available throughout the downtown and has a stop in the 100 block of 1st Avenue North at the Sundial Garage where there are 1,295 parking spaces and 26 designated accessible spaces. The Looper Trolley is accessible to persons with disabilities and there is no fee for anyone to ride. The Looper Trolley has a stop directly in front of the Ferry Terminal. Service hours for the Looper Trolley are 7am-10pm Monday through Thursday, 7am-midnight Fridays and Saturdays, and 8am-10pm Sundays. Click herefor route and schedule information.
The Central Avenue Trolley runs from the St. Petersburg’s Downtown Waterfront at 2nd Avenue NE and Bayshore Drive, and along the unique and popular Central Avenue to St. Pete Beach and Pass-A-Grille. It operates daily between 6 a.m. and at least 11 p.m. Its frequency varies depending upon the time of day. Click here for more detailed schedule information.

Coast Bike Share also operates a bike-share program in St. Petersburg with a hub located at the St. Petersburg Ferry Terminal site and other locations around Downtown.
